Coventry City manager Steven Pressley wants Mathieu Manset to be a player that he can rely on to start games.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, the City boss said about Manset, who has been a substitute in the Sky Blues last two victories said: I don’t see him as an impact player, I see him as a player desperate to start the game. “And that’s exactly what I want,
“I don’t think he’ll be happy being third choice, but he has to understand the situation and it will be difficult for him to dislodge either of the pair in possession because they’re both playing really well.
“ But as he gets fitter he’s putting them under pressure and they’ve responded brilliantly which is what you always want in a football club – everybody hungry to play.
" I think Manny could play alongside either Leon or Callum because he’s not similar in style to either of them; he offers us something different – another dimension.”
