Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke has said that he wants to get back to the fitness he had last season.
Speaking to Sky Blue Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, Clarke said: "I'm still trying to get back to where I was last season and it's going to take time because I spent so much time out injured but I will get there.
"The other players and staff have rallied around me and supported me which has been great and now I just want to play games.
"I'm getting used to left back but I'm a footballer and you should be able to have the physical qualities to deal with it. "I'm just working on my decision making, when to clear my lines and when to hold the ball and I feel better with each game.
"I thought I did well against Jimmy Kebe at Reading and with Snodgrass against Leeds on Tuesday, I felt good against both players.
"The competition with Cyrus has been good for me because it's made me mentally tougher to deal with all kinds of situations that will come at you in football.
"Everyone was buzzing in the dressing room as well after the game on Tuesday night. You can feel a really good vibe at the minute and with that I've got a good feeling we can go to Forest on Saturday, produce a performance and get three points.
"Getting out of this situation means so much to every body here and I just to be in a place where I can help my club."
