Coventry City defender Danny Fox wants his contract extension sorted sooner rather than later.
The defender, who scored some stunning goals including a corker against Norwich City in the season just gone, is keen to sit down with his advisor and Ray Ranson to discuss a new deal.
Speaking to the CT, Fox said: "It is always in the back of your mind to get it sorted out and it would be nice to get it done before the start of pre-season because you don't want to be playing and thinking about it, you want to be carefree and not worry about things like that.
"If I can talk to the chairman that will be great, but it is early days yet and there are two months before pre-season, hopefully I can get it sorted out before then and then come back with a bang.
"I am 22 years old and there is always room for improvement. If I was to say that I am the complete player now then I would be lying because it doesn't matter how old or experienced you are, you can always improve your game and that's what I am looking to do and I think I am in the right hands."
