Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he wanted David McGoldrick to sign off in style.
McGoldrick's loan from Nottingham Forest had helped to revive the Sky Blues along with the appointment of Mark Robins but McGoldrick's time at the club, is now over with his loan ending tomorrow and no sign of any deal that will keep the striker at the Ricoh Arena.
Speaking to the Press Association about McGoldrick who was disappointing in City's 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town, Mark Robins said: "David McGoldrick had his poorest performance since I have been here,
"I wanted him to sign off in style, but you don't always get what you want.
"But he has been magnificent, he will go back to Forest and I will keep mithering the life out of him to see what his plans are, but whatever happens he has been fantastic for us."
