"It was a difficult game and I found it quite disappointing on a personal and team level because I don't feel I played half as well as I should and the team didn't get a result," said the loanee from Chelsea to the CT.
"To be fair, I am not making any excuses about not having played for a bit, I just wasn't at it on Wednesday night and that's not like me. "But hopefully that is just one bad game and if I get a chance in the next game then I will definitely put it right.
"There is a lot more to come from me and I am disappointed that was all I showed in my first game.
"It was great that the manager put a lot of faith in me by playing me against Cardiff but I didn't really pay him back, but if I get another chance I will hopefully show him what I can do.
"I lost possession for the second goal and that's disappointing and it kind of knocked my confidence a bit, but I will learn from that.
"I know I am only young but when you are on the pitch everyone is the same, so I haven't got any excuses.
"I suppose it takes a bit of time to get used to new team-mates but like I said, I haven't got any excuses."
