Leon Clarke has said that he will get goals for Coventry City.
The striker, who has agreed a move to City but not yet finalised it, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner; “I am not worried about getting goals.
“I am not worried if I am going to score or how many, it’s just a case of getting into the team and that will look after itself.
“This team creates a hell of a lot of chances and that should happen every game and it’s just a case of sticking them away myself.
“David McGoldrick has done really well at Coventry and got away from me a little bit in the scoring charts because I missed a few games when my loan finished at the end of November and I went back to Charlton and didn’t play.
“He’s a nice lad, who I know through friends, and he will be a big loss to the dressing room. But there are some good strikers here and I have to work hard to get in the team, particularly ahead of Stephen Elliott who must have been massively disappointed not to have been picked to play against Shrewsbury after his two goals at Milton Keynes Dons.”
