The Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year award said to the CT: "I am young and I made a mistake because I could have finished the game before we made a mistake ourselves.
"We lost two points on Tuesday night and even though I got my second goal for Coventry I am very disappointed with myself because I could have got a hat-trick and I am not very happy about that.
"I am pleased with the goal but I am disappointed with the chances I missed because I am not the sort of player to be happy with a point. I didn't sleep on Tuesday night because I couldn't stop thinking about the chances over and over again.
"The first chance I missed was a good ball from Ben Turner. I had a good touch on it and thought it was coming quickly so I knew I had to finish it early but it didn't really lie right for me and I didn't hit it really well.
"The second chance was a ball in from Robbie Simpson. I got a bad touch with my chest and I slipped and couldn't get a good connection - but I just have to put it right and try to get a goal on Saturday.
"I have to take the good parts out of the performance and block out the negatives and then we will be fine at Plymouth.
"We played a different formation at Selhurst Park and I think that suits us well because Guillaume Beuzelin gets time on the ball and I can bomb forward and Michael Doyle can run his backside off on the left. I thought we absolutely played Palace off the pitch at times."
The Ice Man who is still interesting Fulham and Celtic according to this morning's Sun, added: "I set my standards really high and I get disappointed if I make mistakes."I am learning and I will definitely learn from these mistakes. It is right that I was a holding midfielder and not really doing much finishing in training before I came to Coventry, but I should have put those chances away.
"I do lots of finishing after training now since I have played this role to try to improve myself and I need to improve, especially if we are going to play that formation because if I am going forward I can't afford to miss opportunities like that."
