It is sad to report the death of former Coventry City Football Club player, director and chairman Iain Jamieson at the age of 84.
Iain played 184 games at wing half for the club between 1948-1958. He combined a football career with a business career and became a main board director of Courtaulds.
He became a director of the club in 1973 and after Jimmy Hills departure in 1983 he spent a year as chairman, leaving the board in 1984.
