Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he would have prefered a more winnable tie after the Sky Blues were drawn away to Arsenal in the FA Cup Fourth Round.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Steven Pressley said: “Perhaps I’ll field a weakened team – give a few lads a rest.
“Seriously, the truth is that I would have preferred a more winnable game because, although there is always the possibility that you could produce a miracle performance, the chance of beating a side like Arsenal is very slight.
“But we’ll go there with the mentality that we can pull off a giant-killing. It will be a great experience for the new generation of supporters who don’t remember the days when Coventry were playing in the same division as the likes of Arsenal.
“It will be a wonderful day for our young players because although there were the games against Arsenal and Spurs last season the team has changed since then so for many of them it will be their first experience.
“And I will try to enjoy the experience of pitting my wits against Arsene Wenger. When it comes to English football, Arsenal have always been a side I thoroughly enjoy watching and I have got the greatest respect for the club and their manager.”
