Coventry kid Ivor Lawton has said that he would kill to play for City's first team.
Lawton was City U21's captain before a hernia operation put him out of action. Now, the midfielder is back and told Matt Joyce: "I'm a Coventry lad myself I'd kill to get in the first-team.
"It's my dream to get in the first-team and play for the badge, my club and for my city."I want to get myself back, keep on playing and do well. Hopefully I can prove a point to people, I would do anything to get in the team and I need to keep working hard in training and doing extra to improve."
