Sears has mainly been used as a substitute and told the CT: "It has been a bit frustrating being on the bench and you just try to do your best when you come on.
"I am obviously desperate to start. I have been doing well in training and trying to put myself about and you just have to keep going and hope you get the chance to play.
"It was hard when I came here because the boys were flying and it is hard to put someone straight in the team.
"The manager told me to wait for my chance and when I get it make sure I stay in the team. And that's what I am hoping to do.
"I would like to get a goal because it would be good for me personally to get off the mark at Coventry, and it would be good to get a run in the team."
