I'd Play King Anywhere - Boothroyd

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he is not bothered about whom Marlon King plays against.

King was on loan from Wigan at Hull for a while and will be sure to receive a hostile reception from Hull fans on Saturday, but Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd is unconcerned about that, saying to the CT: "I'd have no hesitation playing him anywhere.

"For a guy who's had a period out of the game like he has and had just six weeks training, "I thought he looked absolutely fantastic against Doncaster.

"Come the second half, you could see he was treading on treacle because the legs had gone a little bit but that's down to match fitness and that comes with games."

King was forced off in the 63rd minute of the win against Doncaster and Boothroyd said: "It's a dead-leg, not a hamstring strain as we first feared, but its a nasty one, so we'll have a test tomorrow morning and assess whether he's fit for the game. But I'm very hopeful he'll be OK."
