Coventry City midfielder Gael Bigirimana has said that he is always grateful to the fans.
The Coventry resident, who came to Britain from war torn Burundi with his family and is now a naturalised citizen, told the CT's Andy Turner: "I am always grateful to the fans.
“They pay a lot of money and give their time, which is precious, so we have to play well and even if the result doesn’t go well, we have to have a go.
"And that’s why I always give my all and run around until the final whistle even if I get cramp or I am limping, as long as I show the fans that I appreciate their support.”
