Mark Robins was pleased with the point from the 1-1 draw against Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday night in a League One encounter at the Ricoh Arena.
Speaking to club journalist Keiran Crowley, Robins said: "We started off brightly and had plenty of chances to score more goals in the first half. But they are a really good side who put us under the cosh at times.
"I thought we would be able to cope with them better than we did if I'm honest. We gave them time to pass at times which is disappointing.
"We have to be brighter and learn how to press the ball. But that's just me thinking about the future as the lads have to get some credit tonight as a few weeks ago, we would have lost that.
"They have given everything they have got and it was great to see Cyrus Christie and Nathan Cameron back. They haven't had much match practice but they have come in, and done well.
"I'm delighted we stuck at it and towards the end, we did have a few chances to win the game."
