Winger Mark Marshall has said that he is going to enjoy his time at Coventry City.
The former Barnet wide man who picked up a back injury when he played for the Sky Blues as a substitute against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Going through the adversity I have been through has taught me to enjoy every minute I get on the pitch, so even if I only get five or ten minutes I am going to enjoy it.
“And hopefully I can continue to enjoy football for the rest of my career.
“Before every game I think to myself that I have been through a lengthy spell out so I get myself into a little mental state of mind where I think and know I am going to go out there and enjoy it. Even if I make one mistake I say, you know what, it’s gone.
“I have this crazy thing that I have been listening to which says you have to live for the moment. Once something has gone you can’t get it back so you have to move on, and that’s what I try to do every time I get on the pitch and to ensure I make the most of it.
“I am 26 now and I will blink and my career will be over, so I have to make the most of it by helping Coventry do well.”
