Marlon King has said that he is grateful for what Coventry City have done for him.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, after completing a medical and agreeing terms with Birmingham City, King said: "I really enjoyed my time at Coventry and I’m grateful to them, and to the fans for making me their player-of-the-year.
"I’ve not got anything against them, the manager, and I won’t say a bad word about Coventry.
"But I’ve moved onto a new challenge now and I’m looking forward to pulling a Birmingham shirt on and hopefully being successful with them.
"I’m excited and can’t wait. "I think every Coventry fan will tell you that I always gave 110 per cent for them and the team, and it will be the same at Birmingham.
"I work hard, that will continue, and hopefully I will be able to score some goals as well.
"I’m looking forward to playing under the manager and there’s no reason why we can’t get out of the Championship and back up into the Premier League."
