Jordan Clarke has expressed his happiness at the appointment of Andy Thorn as Coventry City manager on Thursday.
Speaking to the CT, Clarke said: “I’m very happy with that and I think the other players are happy too.
“He’s been here since I came up at 16 and he has always spoken to me and we’ve always had a good relationship and at the moment he has given me the confidence to do what I know I can do so it is very good playing underneath him.
“He has always praised me and given me the right formula to go out there to go and do what I can do.
“In the last four or five games I have been coming into my own and I am trying to make that right-back position my own.
“He has done a very good job as caretaker and things can only go forward from here, so I’m very pleased for him.
“Training is a lot more relaxed and enjoyable. We do a lot more small-sided games which always makes the lads more fiery.
“He’s given us a little bit more freedom which is always good, it’s just a different personality.
“He’s a cockney, he’s got the punch lines and the accent to go with it and he has a good personality, he gels well with people and is a good people person.”
