Coventry City's latest loanee Richard Wood says that he is at the Sky Blues to keep clean sheets.
Speaking to the club website, Wood who is on loan until January from Sheffield Wednesday with a view to a £500,000 transfer, said: "Keeping clean sheets is why I am here because it's my job to try and do that every game.
"I knew Crystal Palace was going to be a tough fixture having played against them for Wednesday earlier this season and it was just as I expected.
"We had to battle for everything we got but in the end I think we were unlucky to have not gone on and won the game.
"I've already played against QPR this season as well for Wednesday and I know they will be no easier a test than Palace were but we're all looking forward to it and the lads are in good spirits after last weekend's result."
