Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd joked that he is legendary weatherman and former Warwick University student John Kettley in disguise after City's press corp pointed out how many weather analogies he had used during Thursday's press conference.
The quote that provoked the comments from the press saw Mr Boothroyd say: "We've had a few thunderbolts this year. In fact we've had a worst storm than they get in South America but it makes us stronger and better in the long term.
"I haven't lost my will for the fight and it's given me a real inside look at people under pressure. Times like this bind you closer together. When the sun shines on us and it will, it will make it a lot better."
When asked why he used so many references to the weather which are a regular theme of his interviews, Boothroyd said to the CT: "I know but I can't help it - I'm John Kettley in disguise!
