Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he was pleased for Michael McIndoe who scored his first goal for the Sky Blues in a 1-1 draw at home to Plymouth Argyle this afternoon.
Speaking to Sky Blues Player, the City manager said; "We looked a bit stodgy and a bit sticky in the first half if I'm being honest but second half the boys came out and I really thought we were going to go on to win the game.
"Both ourselves and Plymouth had chances to take more than a point today and although I thought we had the better of the second half, all credit to Plymouth who made a good game of it.
"The players have been magnificent for me for quite a while now and while it's not OK to say they can have an off day they certainly had an off 45 minutes in the first half but we asked far more questions of Plymouth in the second half which was very pleasing and we went extremely close to getting all the points.
"I'm really happy for Michael McIndoe to get his first goal because I know it has been playing on his mind a bit in the last few weeks but he deserves his goal because he always works his socks whether it's training or a matchday so I'm delighted for him."
