New Coventry City signing Carl Baker has said that he is looking forward to playing for the Sky Blues.
The midfielder completed his move from Stockport County this morning and agreed a two and a half year deal.
He is now awaiting clearance from the Football League so that he can part of the squad for the game against Barnsley at the Ricoh Arena tomorrow.
Speaking to the club website, Baker said: "The past few months have been unbelievable to be fair and now I'm in the Championship it's like a dream come true. I've thought about playing at this level for a few years and now I'm actually here is just fantastic.
"Obviously I've not been here very long but it's been unbelievable so far. The gaffer , the chairman and the lads have all been great, it's a fantastic stadium and I'm really looking forward to playing in it.
"From the training ground facilities to the stadium I think Coventry City has everything you need to make yourself better as a player and when I got the chance to see it all there was no looking back for me.
"It's a nice confidence boost to know the manager likes me for my all-round play as well as my goalscoring and hopefully I can chip in with a few goals but the first aim is to work as hard as I can to help the team and help them push up the league table.
"I thought, Ray and Chris seemed like really good people when I met them and they want to push the club forward and it's a good feeling to know they want me to be part of that."
