Coventry City manager Steven Pressley said he felt sorry for the players and fans after the Sky Blues went down to a 3-2 defeat to Crawley Town.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Pressley said: “I’m desperately sorry for my players because they gave me everything.
“We weren’t ourselves in the first half and we effectively gifted them a two-goal start. But we were tremendous after the interval and I could only see one side winning it once we equalised.
“I feel sorry for the fans as well, because we had a tremendous following here today and it would have been great to have given them a positive result after all that they’ve been through in recent times.
“But I am sure they will agree that if we can show that level of commitment every match we have a great chance of pulling ourselves up the table.”
