Coventry City midfielder Conor Thomas feels that he is still getting used to playing in the diamond formation.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thomas said: "As I have said before, this is the first year I have played in the diamond formation and I am still adjusting my game to fit in there.
"But in football, the more matches you play, the more you get used to it as we never used to play that system in the Academy.
"If the team are playing well and you are picking up results, then it always helps the younger lads like me to push on and play better.
"This season, on a personal level, has been great for me as I have been able to play games. Obviously I would much rather the team be winning and further up the table."
