Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he is trying everything possible to keep Marlon King, Keiren Westwood and Aron Gunnarsson.
Speaking at a fans forum tonight which was attended by 75% of a 250 capacity, Thorn said that he went to the City board and told them he want Marlon King, Keiren Westwood, Aron Gunnarsson, Jordan Clarke and Nathan Cameron was doing everything he could to keep the three and they offered them really good deals.
The players have twenty one days from when the offer was made to accept or turn down down the contract.
Richard Keogh who was also a panel speaker at the forum, which was broadcast live for an hour on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire before further questions were taken said: "We love them to bits and would love them to stay."
If they don't want to sign the contracts, a defiant Thorn, who is expected to have the same budget that Aidy Boothroyd had this season, said: "I have people I would like to bring in if they don't want to sign."
