Simeon Jackson has said that he is willing to play anywhere for Coventry City in order to help the team.
Jackson's whose appearances for City have recently been limited due to a tactic employed by Steven Pressley who is now being seen as being afraid to lose a game following the calls for his head following the FA Cup exit to Worcester City.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Jackson said: “It would be good to strike up a partnership but I’ll just keep working hard and see what happens.
“A combination like ours is good, especially in this league and late on when you’re chasing the game and you want to be a bit more direct. It does definitely help but, like I say, I am able and willing to play anywhere in the team to help us get results and up the table.
“I’m just working hard every day. "Obviously it’s frustrating when you’re not playing but you’re part of a squad and a team, and you just want the team to do well.
"That’s no different for me and I’ll just keep going and try to do as well as I can.
"I’m just taking it one game at a time and trying to get results going on the pitch. That’s the focus of everyone.
“It’s important to try to get some momentum and try to get some goals. It would be nice to have a busy Christmas with the games coming thick and fast.
"That’s when you need a squad and players to come in and if that’s what my role’s going to be then that’s what I’ll do.”
