Coventry City loanee David McGoldrick has said that it is important that other City players chip in with goals.
Whilst McGoldrick fired in a brace in the 4-1 win at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, City also scored two top draw goals through Franck Moussa and Adam Barton and speaking to club journalist Kieran Crowley, McGoldrick said: “I was dying for that hat-trick but it wasn’t to be. I haven’t scored one for the club yet and I missed a couple of chances to do that.
“Most importantly though, everyone is chipping in at the moment. Adam Barton and Franck (Moussa) scored two great goals and it is important that it isn’t just me getting the goals."
