Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that it was important that an experienced player came in.
Pressley has signed 32 year old David Prutton from Sheffield Wednesday, who have Pressley's former assistant at Falkirk Lee Bullen on their staff, on an emergency loan for the rest of the season after loaning out Billy Daniels to Cheltenham and Adam Barton to Fleetwood Town and told the Coventry Telegraph: “With the loan departures of Adam Barton and Billy Daniels and John Fleck’s two-game suspension it was vitally important that we brought in a player with established quality, leadership skills and experience and David certainly fits that mould.
“He has played at the highest domestic level but also has a detailed knowledge of this division and what it demands and we’re delighted to have him on board to help us finish the season on a high note.”
