Coventry City has received good news after scans revealed that injuries to Adam Virgo and David McNamee were not as bad as first feared.
Injury Update
Virgo has a partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, which is not as serious as first thought. The on-loan Celtic utility player, who was stretchered off in the defeat at Ninian Park on Saturday, will see a specialist later this week.
Scotland international McNamee was also injured in the clash against Cardiff. Scans showed a slight tear in his hamstring, which again will be assessed within the next 48 hours.
However, there was not such good news for Jay Tabb. The wide midfielder returned home early from Republic of Ireland U21 duty with a slight abdominal strain, meaning he is doubtful for this Friday's game against Leicester City.
