Both Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be tracking the progress of City defender Stuart Giddings with a view to a possible bid.

The Coventry born left back has progressed through the ranks to become a regular first team member this season but missed the Preston game due to an ankle injury.
