Coventry City should have keeper Danny Ireland back in September.
The Australian who has signed a new deal, has had a torn thigh muscle which required an operation and the keeper is expected to be fit again in September.
Speaking about Ireland, Ogrizovic said to the CT: “It is always healthy to have good competition and we mustn’t forget Danny Ireland who was really unfortunate to get injured last season when he got his opportunity when Keiren got injured.
“He suffered a torn thigh muscle and people perhaps don’t realise that he carried on for 40 minutes with that so he deserves some recognition for that alone.
"He’s had an operation and he is going to be fit around September time so we will have three good goalkeepers who will create competition between each other and that’s the way goalkeepers develop.
“We have also got young Lee Burge, who has stepped up from the academy after doing ever so well there, so we have high hopes for him as well over the coming seasons when he will hopefully develop and fulfil his ambitions."
