Coventry City's new defender Stephen O'Halloran has said that having players with Irish links will help him settle in to life with the Sky Blues.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Cork born Halloran said: I know Steve Staunton played for the club and Stan gave me a chance in the Republic of Ireland team so I like the fact there is a link there.
"I know Coventry have already got some good Irish players in the squad like Keiren Westwood who I have heard a lot about and Gary Deegan from his time in Ireland so I know he is an extremely good player."
