Is A New Investor Looming?

We have received reports that another businessman is preparing to make a move to buy Coventry City. The report received which we have been unable to verify at the moment claims to be from a businessman called S.G. It claims to have been told to a local reporter and says:

"I have the resources to make a serious bid for my beloved Coventry City in the new year. "This is not a prank and I understand that many of the Sky blue faithful may be sceptical concerning this statement. I was very angry by the way Coventry City Football Club was treated by that so called businessman Joe Dhinsa and it is time that action was taken to put Coventry City back where they belong.

"I will give more information about my bid at a later date as I wish to go through the proper channels for buying Coventry City Football Club.

"I have contacted the chairman Mike McGinnity on many occasions in the past week and have agreed a verbal contract to buy Coventry City. I hope all the Sky Blues fans have a good Christmas and I promise it will be an amazing New Year". S.G.
