The Nottingham Evening Post are claiming that Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood could be interested in signing Leon Best in January.

The striker signed from Southampton in the summer, has scored against Northampton,Notts County and Crystal Palace plus for the reserves at Leicester but has struggled with injury and not being able to command a regular place in the team.

With the transfer embargo coming out of the move of 21 year to the Arena, Forest (or any other interested club) would have to pay the amount City owe directly to Southampton and then any monies left would go to the Sky Blues.
