Is It The End For Kean?

As mentioned in our match report from yesterday's game at Ipswich Town, Coventry City Assistant Manager Steve Kean could be leaving the club.

Kean is set to have a meeting with Chris Coleman this week and the City boss told the CT: "I am not going to say yes and I am not going to say no. "It is a difficult one for me and it is a difficult one for Steve.

"Out of respect for all our other staff we need to sit down and talk with everyone, so I can't really comment on that.

"And probably me not commenting on it says everything, I don't know, but there is no problem between Steve and myself.

"We have had a close relationship and he has been an outstanding assistant for me. "But we will sit down with everyone this week and have a chat."

Coleman went on to say: Coleman added: "Steve and I have been together a long time and we will sit down this week and have a chat, as I will with all the staff. "He has been my right-hand man for a long time and a great servant for me.

"I have already said there will be changes, on the pitch, but I think it is a good time for us now with the way things have gone in the last six to eight weeks when it has not worked out.

"Had we finished 10th or whatever, we might have thought everything was all right and we are doing okay.

"But I admit that we need to make changes. "But there is no problem with any of my staff who have been as good as gold and worked hard for me."
