Coventry City's average attendance has fallen for the second successive time since the club moved to the Ricoh Arena in August 2005.
The average attendance for this season was greatly boosted by the biggest gate of the season for the game against Wolves on Saturday but has fallen to 19,123.
Last season, the final figure was 20,342 down on the opening season of 21,301.
In the first season at the Arena, City made it "Fortress Ricoh" but home form in the last two seasons has not been good enough and this has had an effect on some supporters staying away.
Also, the ever spiraling costs of getting to the ground have risen with petrol prices getting silly which in turn has a knock on effect on bus and taxi prices.
With no sign of a train station in the near future and the Council intent on keeping the restriction zone around the ground and local area, the cost of parking has for many supporters added to the match day cost.
