Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that his side won't be playing attacking football against Blackpool on Saturday.
Coleman and his backroom staff, who were accused on Tuesday night at Swansea by some of the City supporters as having the side playing as though they are scared to lose, told the CT: “If we go into Saturday’s game thinking we can go out to attack and play nice and open we will lose, so we are not going to do that, I promise you that now.
“We will be going into it with the same mind-set and if we need to score from a set play I don’t care because three points on Saturday will see us sitting nice and pretty.
“We will be on 35 points with still plenty of games left and it will be a good scalp for us to beat Blackpool because we went up there earlier in the season and played open and lost 3-0, so we have got one or two points to prove on Saturday.”
