Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has described the news that James Maddison could be out for a couple of months as a disappointment.
Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "The scan hasn’t been completely confirmed yet but, yes, it looks a bad one and that was my immediate thought on Saturday.
“I watch James in training every day – he takes a lot of knocks but he’s a brave lad who always tries to run it off so when he came off like that I feared the worst.
“It’s a disappointment, of course, but you have to put up with that kind of thing in football and it’s up to us to find a solution.”
