Midifleder Adam Barton has been extolling the virtues of Coventry City's first team, U21's and U18's all playing the same system.
Speaking to Kieran Crowley, Barton who scored a stunning goal for the U21's in a 3-0 behind closed doors win at Ryton against Brighton & Hove Albion said: "It really helps that everyone trains together and gets to learn the same styles of play so that every player knows his role within the club's system.
"There is a big focus on what to do without the ball and that has gone from the first team all the way to the youth team.
"If you are a youth team player here and you have to come up into the first team, you know exactly what your role is within the club's system and I think that is a great thing for the club."
