Former Coventry City reserve teamer and Academy player Lee Hildreth is hoping to win a contract at Tamworth FC.
The Nuneaton born midfielder was amongst those released by City back in April and is looking for a new club. At the end of last season, he played a couple of reserve matches for Port Vale, who opted not take him on.
The Conference North side are managed by former City Reserve team boss Gary Mills who told This Is Tamworth: "He's done well in training and he'll be coming to Ireland with us so we'll be able to take another look at him then."
