It's Miller Time

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game against Ipswich Town on Saturday is Nigel Miller from County Durham.

Miller has been a referee since 1989 and was promoted to the Football League referees list in 2003.

Mr. Miller's last City game was the 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe United in December 2009. He officiated in the 3-0 defeat at Blackpool in August 2009 and the 0-1 home defeat to Plymouth Argyle in November 2008. He was also the man in black in the FA cup 4th round home tie which saw City beat Millwall 2-1. in January 2008.

This will be Mr Miller's 28th game this season and his tenth Championship game. He has shown 68 yellow cards and two red.

His assistants are Lee Betts from Norfolk and Matt Wilkes from Birmingham.  The Fourth Official is Andy Hendley from Birmingham.
