Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that it is not about hitting full pelt now as his team drew their first UK public pre-season game 0-0 at Nuneaton Town this evening.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the City boss said: "We'd all like to win games by six or seven goals but credit to Nuneaton because they were organised and difficult to break down and it was a good early test for us.
"It's not about hitting fult pelt now. It's about being in a position to hit full pelt in August and I'm quite content with that so now it's about moving on to the next friendly against Hinckley on Saturday."
