Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan has said that City need results as soon as possible.
Speaking before the sacking of Aidy Boothroyd which it is understood some people were expecting on Saturday night, Clingan said to the CT:"Yet again we are standing here and we haven't got a result.
"We can't sit around sulking and moping about. Fortunately enough for us the teams below us are losing as well but we can't worry about the teams around us. We have got to start worrying about ourselves and getting results ASAP.
"I have been in this situation before with Norwich and it is not a nice feeling having relegation on your CV. There are aren't many teams that are carving us open - we are actually giving them goals so we need to work harder to put it right."
