Coventry City Director Leonard Brody has tweeted that it is up to Marlon King if he chooses Coventry City or Birmingham City when he returns from holiday tomorrow.
King had originally said that he wanted to sign for Coventry City but on Friday, his agent announced that he had not agreed and now Birmingham City have come in with more money than City, who are understood to have offered King a good package, could afford to offer, plus the prospect of Europa League football.
Mr Brody tweeted: "Sadly, we have done everything we can. We are fighting for him. It is really his call now."
In another tweet, he added: "I can't get into details...but we met most of his requests. I think this will come down to where he wants to play."
