Coventry City defender Arron Phillips has said that he has enjoyed his loan spell at Nuneaton Town.
Phillips has been on loan at Nuneaton since January and told club journalist Kieran Crowley: “It has been great for me to get out there and have a loan spell. It is real men’s football and I believe since me and (Lee) Burge started there, we have gone through a really good spell.
“It is a really good league and to play teams like Wrexham, Luton and Mansfield is a great experience. I claimed my first senior goal last week at Telford. I got down the line, played it into the striker, cut inside and finished as well so I was really happy about that.
“I want to push on personally but I really want to be part of the side which keeps Nuneaton up as well. I feel we can definitely win at Ebbsfleet as we are a strong enough team and we are determined.
“They have been great to me since I moved there and it is a great group. The fans down there have been very supportive so hopefully we can be part of the team which keeps Nuneaton up for those fans.”
