Coventry City manager Andy Thorn feels that if he were to be sacked then he has given the club everything.
With the bookies offering odds of 6/4 for Thorn to be the next Championship manager to lose his job and some City supporters, judging by comments on social media sites and forums thinking the club would be better making a change of manager, the future of Thorn whose team are 23rd in the table and some seven points adrift of third from bottom Nottingham Forest, could be seen as becoming less clearer.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "I am working with a great group of lads. We are striving to get the best out of the players we have and maybe we could have a few more players here but I'm not going to use that excuse.
"I think we play a great style of football especially seeing how experienced this squad is. The players have always given me everything and I won't have a bad word said against them.
"If the club start to think we are not doing well enough, then fine but I want to do well for the club and we are getting everything we can out of the players at the moment."If the players weren't giving me everything then I'd be worried. It is the easiest thing in the world to sack someone.
"If that happens, then I can say I have given this club everything I could for three years. I have seen the club more than I have seen my family but I can tell you now, I won't give up any time soon."
