Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that he was happy with a point against Preston North End which keeps the Sky Blues unbeaten run going.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph after the 1-1 draw, Robins said; “I’ve got to be happy with that. “We were the better team in the first half, we weren’t in the second and it’s fair to say that we weren’t quite on it like we have been in recent weeks.
“Conditions weren’t great and it was a bitty performance – we allowed them to dictate in the second half and they’re not bad at what they do. But it’s a point and it keeps the unbeaten run going – a few months ago, perhaps a few weeks ago, we might have struggled to hold on to the point we got.
“The most disappointing aspect was the goal we conceded, a bit similar to the one against Portsmouth, but we’ll learn from that and we’ll go again against Stevenage on Boxing Day looking for three points.”
