Coventry City's latest loanee Lee Sawyer has said that he has got to take his chance with the Sky Blues when he gets it.
"When you come to a club on loan you want to try and make an impact straight away but I know I've got to work hard and show in training what I can do and if I can do that I know I will get my chance and if I get it I've got to take it," said Sawyer, who joined until February 22nd from Chelsea to the club website.
He added: "I got goals at Southend and I will be looking to do that here as well.
"The club's approach to young players is good to hear because it's good to be at a club that wants to give young players a chance and that gives me hope that I will get my chance here.
"At the beginning it will be a month's loan and hopefully I can do well and impress the manager and hopefully get the stay extended which is the plan.
"With Coventry only being eight points off the play-offs that should be an aim for us."
