Coventry City loanee Chris Dagnall has said that he has no idea what the future holds for him.
His loan expires this week and Dagnall will be available for City's game at Rotherham United tomorrow but will return to Barnsley FC, City's FA Cup Third Round opponents on Thursday.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Dagnall, who admitted to enjoying his time at City in a tweet, said: “My last game is Rotherham on New Year’s Day and to be honest with you I have no idea what’s going to happen after that.
“I have not spoken to anyone at Barnsley. As far as I know I will just go back there on January 2nd and see what happens.
“I will have to see what my options are but if the opportunity came up for me to come here I’d seriously consider it.
“This spell has been the most enjoyable of the season so far for me. It’s just good to be involved and out on the pitch. Before I came here I was barely getting a kick so it’s great to be in and around the lads and getting games.”
