Coventry City midfielder Steve Jennings has admitted that he has not been as good as he could be.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo's Nick Hilton, Jennings said: “I set my own standards sky high and I’m very ambitious.
“Coventry is certainly a fantastic club. They are a very ambitious and I’m certainly a very ambitious person myself.
“It’s just all about putting a good performance in over the 90 minutes, getting a settled back four, a settled midfield and a settled pairing up front.
“We certainly know we’ve got the capabilities but sometimes it can be difficult to get that right over the full 90 minutes.
“I’ve played my part but I know I haven’t been anywhere near as good as I know I can be.
“We’ve got to turn this around now because we owe it to the fans and most importantly we owe it to ourselves to get up and running and get that first win.”
