Coventry City's youngest ever debutant Jonson Clarke-Harris has signed a two year deal with Peterborough United.
Leicester born Clarke-Harris was spotted playing football on the streets of Leicester and joined City's Academy where he started to get goals.
However, despite scoring fourteen goals last season, he was not offered a new contract due to the amount of forwards already on the club's books who were ahead of him in the pecking order, rather than anything sinister which may have been wrongly infered by other media outlets, and with City needing players now along with Courtney Richards, he was released.
Speaking to the Peterborough Telegraph, Posh Boss Darren Ferguson said: “It’s our gain and Coventry’s loss. I have seen him at first hand and we felt signing him was a bit of a no-brainer for us. For his age, he is physically a man already and has good pace and strength.
“We just need to teach him how we want to play, but we are happy to have him on board.
“He has an extremely powerful left-foot. He is big, strong, wants to learn and we think he has a chance.”
